Breakfast at Tiffanys Lap Quilt - finished!

Hi everyone

Hope you have a good week.  I've had my quilting blinkers on determined to get this lap quilt finished.
Thank you to everyone who left a comment last week.
I did get the quilting finished.  Here is the progress in photos.
If you missed the first post on this quilt, you can find it here.

I'm feeling much more confident on my frame now and am really enjoying it.  I don't think I'll ever free motion  quilt another big quilt on the table top - maybe just small projects.
I just have to trim and bind this now.  I'm already thinking what I can load onto the frame next........
Thanks for visiting today.
Rhianon.

They say practice makes perfect, but your quilting was perfect on the domestic machine so I knew it wouldn't be long before you would feel confident. Beautiful work. Chris

I'm so happy you have come to love the frame!! Both the frame mounted and "fixed" machines have a place/use and, for some, the machine style is dictated by room space (this applies to me!). Your stitching is wonderful and I especially like how the quilting 'plays' around the appliques....like it's skipping and laughing---having fun!!!!

Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. (I do have a bigger vocabulary, but I never get to use much of it in relation to your quilts because you always do such gorgeous, awe-inspiring work!)

Stunning. I love everything about this, the bright colours, the appliqué, the quilting. Bravo!

Gorgeous finish! Did you use a die cutter for the feather and flower appliques, or did you draw and cut them yourself? They're beautiful and add so much to the quilt!

Blows my socks off! Just beautiful. What do you use for filler and did you do any trapunto (sorry on the spelling) with the applique? I just purchased a sit down quilter and am having some fun with it however I have a ways to go. Thank you.
